DRESS CODE
Zürich Schule Barcelona (ZSB) strives to assure that its students succeed at school and provides a favourable learning environment. Students’ behaviour and dress are key areas in their personal growth, which is why we need your help to ensure both aspects are in keeping with the rules of our school. Parents’ common sense is the best principle. The accessories and clothes listed below affect the learning process and are therefore considered inappropriate and banned from the school.
· Off-shoulder blouses, low-cut shirts and crop tops.
· Shorts, skirts and dresses that are too short.
· Wrong size trousers and very low cut trousers that reveal underwear.
· Tight sports shorts and stretch trousers.
· Clothes with symbols, words or images related to drugs, alcohol, sex, violence, swearing or political references.
· Sandals, open shoes and wheeled shoes.
We hope you understand that we need your support and cooperation to maintain and reinforce our dress code. When students come to school correctly dressed, the message they are sending is that school is a place for working and learning. If a teacher feels that a student’s clothing is inappropriate, they will provide them with a school tracksuit.
Secondary Education students not wearing the correct dress code will not be able to take part in P. E. lessons and will remain at the school with a teacher.
Further information can be found in our internal document ‘Organisation and Operating Rules of Zürich Schule Barcelona’.
